It could be that there's only one 3P seller selling genuine and the others are all selling fakes, or the other way around, no way to know which seller it refers to unless the reviewer specifically names the vendor. Just because one or more reviews say that it's authentic, doesn't mean you'll get authentics since they're lumped together. Also, what I mean by "Product reviews - is NOT seller specific" is that they lump together all the product reviews for items sold by all the assorted 3P sellers. Not to mention the shipping issues you referred to, and Amazon has already had to pay massive fines for improperly shipping hazmat stuff. So, selling these for vaping would be in conflict with that. Plus, Amazon doesn't allow vaping related stuff to be sold on their site. Easier to let the 3P (3rd party) sellers tackle those issues. I presume Amazon doesn't carry them because it's really hard to buy those direct when you're selling retail and there's tons of fakes being sold by wholesalers. The batteries we use from LG, Samsung, and Sony aren't intended for end use (consumer use). It says who a product is by and shipped/sold by and fulfilled by amazon so maybe that's where the confusion came in.īatteries seem to be a pain in the rear with regulations, safety, shipping concerns so maybe amazon themselves don't like to deal with batteries directly? Just to double check I looked up some other products more like things I've purchased in the past and they don't have a 3rd party shoved in there. Not the first of their irritations over the years, also not fond of their price hopping games. First I've seen them slipping other sellers in, good to know. I had to go back and look at an amazon page since I don't speak german but I see what you're saying. I also try to make sure whatever it is the item is fulfilled by amazon since they're easy to work with rather than stuck with a 3rd party. I've not bought any batteries through amazon, but they do have others where it says 'by xyz battery store' instead of 'lg' or 'samsung'. It used to be that the 'by' info was for the seller, seems they've changed or at least on batteries. Click to expand.I see what you're saying, usually I look harder when purchasing to see who I'm purchasing from.
